Octoberfest Lager

Inward Delight, an Oktoberfest lager, is the latest Moby Dick seasonal offering. Inward Delight, like most traditional Oktoberfest beers, is a Marzen lager. It is a full flavored, medium-bodied, copper colored European lager. It is an easy drinking fest beer with a nice accent on the German malts, which impart a delicate malt sweetness to go along with some toasty notes. It is balanced with spicy and floral flavors and aromas from the use of Noble-type hops. This beer is very versatile and can be paired with grilled meats (traditionally pork) and sausages. German potato salads, as well as potato pancakes and pretzels are also favorite dishes to eat with Oktoberfest beer.
