A full-flavored, full-bodied black ale. Impreial stouts are pretty much malty, strong stouts with a slightly hoppy flavor that is balanced by the alcohol. These beers were initially brewed for the Russian imperial family. BTW, Captain Bildad was a co-owner of the Pequod. 8.5% ABV
