Captive King is the latest Moby Dick seasonal offering. It is a light-to- medium bodied, unfiltered Belgian White ale or Wit. Witbier or Belgian White Ales are wheat beers, they are similar to German Hefeweizens, but are usually spiced with coriander and orange peel like this one. These beers are very popular right now, the two most common Belgian Wits are Hoegaarden and Allagash White. These beers are crisp and refreshing. This beer would make a nice complement to any of our salads. It would also go great with our marinated chicken sandwich, fish and chips, lighter Asian and Mexican dishes and any other lighter fare with citrus flavors.
